24/01/2010 - Scottish FA Skills

SCOTTISH FA SKILLS DVD IN-SERVICE

Sunday 7th February

10:30am

Hampden Park

The aim of the skills DVD tests is to encourage players

to develop and improve by practising key techniques as

often as possible

This interactive in-service will provide coaches the

opportunity to view the DVD and take part in practical

demonstrations at the NEW indoor Toryglen Regional

Football Centre

On completion of the in-service coaches will be some of

the first in the country to receive a copy of the NEW

Scottish FA Skills Test DVD

*In order to participate in the practical element, please bring appropriate

clothing and footwear suitable for a 3G surface*

Content On The Day:

TIME ACTIVITY VENUE

10:30am Meeting with Tea and Coffee Hampden

10:45am Presentation of Skills DVD Hampden

11:30am Move to NEW Toryglen Regional Football Centre Hampden to Toryglen

12:00pm Practical Demonstration of Skills DVD Toryglen

1:30pm Question and Answer Toryglen

2:00pm Finish Toryglen

*In order to participate in the practical element, please bring appropriate

22/01/2010 - Red Box Fundraising Nights

The club are having a couple of “Red Box” fundraising nights at the St Peters Club, Braehead Road, Paisley.

Saturday 6th February & Saturday 20th March

These are normally great nights where everyone can take part and have some fun!!

Its an adults only night – tickets £4 – please speak to one of the St Peters coaches to buy your tickets.

22/01/2010 - Sportsmans Dinner - Saturday 6th March

The club are hosting a Sportsman’s Dinner on Saturday 6^th March at the St Peters Club, Braehead Road, Paisley. 3 guest speakers, John Gagan, Brian McGinlay and Bill Copland all of whom have a great reputation of entertaining the crowd with stories from their past.

Tickets are £30 and include 3 course dinner – tickets are limited, so speak to one of the St Peters coaches to buy your tickets.

22/01/2010 - U11's Easter Trip

St Peters U11's are counting down the weeks to this years Easter Tournament. They are taking part in the Preston M&L Easter Cup on Friday 2nd April to Monday 5th April. This is the 3rd year in a row that the boys have been away at Easter, fingers crossed its another enjoyable and entertaining experience !!

We will be staying in the Carn Brae Hotel, 657 - 659 New South Promenade, Blackpool www.carnbraehotel.co.uk

The tournament will be held at the Preston Sports Arena. Tournament fixtures have not yet been issued but all teams will play a minimum of 5 games over 3 days, 2 games on the Saturday, 2 games on the Sunday and final game on the Monday. Games will be 20 minutes each way. www.eastercup.co.uk

06/12/2009 - U11's - Goalkeeper wanted for the Blacks

St Peters Blacks U11's are on the lookout for an experienced goalkeeper to join the team, the team train twice a week at St Andrews on the astrograss, Tuesday 6pm - 8pm and Friday 6pm - 7.30pm. If you are interested contact John Dalziel 07791 635205 or come along to St Andrews for a trial

13/11/2009 - Mini Kicker Infomation

Mini-Kickers train on the astrograss at St Andrews Academy on a Monday night from 6.00pm till 7.00pm. Kids aged 4, 5 & 6 welcome – cost of the session £2.00

We are looking to recruit new coaches to help out with the mini-kickers, the club are happy and willing to support and help fund new coaches to achieve their coaching certificates – please contact a member of the committee for further information.
